Frequently asked questions
How is a FlockScore calculated?
A vendor rating across eight categories, scored 0 to 5. Peer scorecards from manufacturers who buy from that supplier, combined with AI-derived signals such as certificates, public events and hiring patterns. Each score carries a confidence indicator based on the quality, recency and depth of the signals behind it.
Do you have data on our suppliers?
Book a call and we can assess this together. A full coverage analysis of your supplier base is part of our pilot with potential customers.
Do our suppliers see their scores?
Only companies in our data network can see supplier scores. If one of your suppliers is part of the network, they can see their own score. That is transparent feedback from the market, so a supplier can improve where it matters or get the recognition they have earned. They can never see which companies contributed to a scorecard.
What if only a few companies have scored a supplier?
Every score carries a confidence indicator, so you can see how much confidence we have in each score on the platform. The more quality peer reviews behind a score, the higher its confidence. Peer reviews are also blended with predictive AI scorecards, so a single peer rating never carries the weight of a full scorecard.
We already use a supplier risk platform. How is this different?
Risk platforms cover financial, compliance and disruption exposure. FlockScore covers operational performance: quality, delivery and service, which those tools do not hold. The two are complementary.
Where does this sit alongside our SRM and supplier quality processes?
Alongside, not instead. Supplier relationship management and supplier quality run on your own data: audits, incoming quality, your scorecards. FlockScore adds how the same supplier performs for other manufacturers, so development conversations and capability assessments start from more than one company's view.
What do we get if we do not contribute data?
Full access at the standard rate. Contributing your own supplier scorecards reduces the fee by more than half.
How long does onboarding take?
Access to the platform within days of signing, fully implemented within four weeks.
What does it cost?
Annual subscription, priced on the size of your supplier base and how you will use FlockScore. Contributing reduces the fee. We can scope this together on a call.
Is this legal under competition law?
FlockScore holds operational performance ratings, not commercial terms. No prices, no contract terms, nothing commercial appears on a scorecard. Contributions are anonymised at collection and aggregated before publication.
